Tax Specialist

The Tax Specialist is responsible for managing and overseeing the accurate and timely preparation and submission of various tax reports and documents required by regulatory authorities. This role involves analyzing financial data, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide accurate tax-related information. The Manager plays a vital role in maintaining the organization's tax compliance and supporting its financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit tax reports, returns, and related documents to regulatory authorities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.

  • Compile and analyze financial data to support the preparation of tax reports.

  • Review tax computations, ensuring they comply with tax laws and regulations.

  • Stay up to date with changes in tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.

  • Monitor and ensure the organization's compliance with tax laws and regulations.

  • Analyze financial and tax data to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.

  • Collaborate with departments to gather necessary data for tax reporting.

  • Validate data and calculations to ensure consistency and correctness in tax reporting.

  • Provide tax-related information and insights to support strategic decision-making.

  • Maintain organized and accurate records of tax-related documents and reports.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline tax reporting processes and enhance efficiency.

  • Recommend process improvements and contribute to their implementation.

  • Communicate tax reporting requirements, changes, and issues to relevant stakeholders.

  • Respond to inquiries from regulatory authorities and external partners as needed.

  • Prepare necessary documentation and reports for audit purposes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; PMS, ACCA or relevant certification is a must.

  • Proficiency in using tax software, financial software (1C 8.3), and MS Office.

  • More than 3 years’ experience in tax reporting.

  • In-depth knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.

  • Strong analytical and data analysis skills.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing and reviewing tax reports.

  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Understanding of financial statements and basic accounting principles.
